We are seeking an experienced Soft Skill Trainer at Kochi to join our organisation and contribute to the professional development of our employees and of our clients. As a Soft Skill Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance employees’/students’ interpersonal and communication skills, leadership abilities, teamwork, time management, and other essential soft skills. Your goal will be to empower our clients/employees/students with the necessary skills to thrive in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop Training Programs:

  • Design and develop comprehensive soft skills training programs based on the organization’s needs and objectives.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and customize training materials accordingly.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in soft skill development to ensure training programs are relevant and effective.

Deliver Training:

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions to individuals or groups of employees.
  • Use a variety of instructional techniques and training methods, such as role-playing, case studies, simulations, and multimedia presentations, to promote active learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to participants to help them improve their soft skills.

Evaluate Training Effectiveness:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Modify training content and methods as needed to maximize learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program evaluations.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with department heads, managers, and HR teams to identify specific soft skill needs within the organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights to enhance training materials and content.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, fostering a positive learning environment.

Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in soft skill training and adult learning methodologies.
  • Participate in professional development activities, such as attending workshops, conferences, and webinars, to enhance your own skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Communication, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Soft Skill Trainer or similar role, with a track record of delivering effective training programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of various soft skills, such as communication, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and time management.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using training tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems.
  • Certifications in training, coaching, or related fields are desirable.
