We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) in Trivandrum to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to travel. As a BDE, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with higher officials, conducting orientation sessions in schools for teachers and students, and driving business growth in the education sector. Candidates with prior experience in the education field, specifically 2-3 years in a similar role, will be given preference. We welcome both female and male candidates to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with higher officials, establishing and nurturing strong relationships to explore business opportunities.
- Conduct orientation sessions in schools, presenting our products and services to teachers and students in an informative and engaging manner.
- Identify potential clients and partners in the education sector and devise strategies to attract and retain them.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and promotional materials.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify areas for growth and development.
- Travel to various locations to meet with potential clients, attend conferences, and represent the company in educational events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our products and services.
- Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into successful deals and achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
- Continuously update knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends to provide the best solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in the education field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and explore new markets.
- Ability to conduct engaging orientation sessions and deliver compelling presentations.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
