Refinery Operator in Kozhikode

We are seeking an experienced Refinery Operator to join our team. As a Refinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining an edible oil refinery plant. This role involves monitoring and controlling the refinery processes to ensure the production of high-quality edible oil products while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and control the refinery equipment and processes, including distillation, filtration, and chemical treatment, to refine edible oils.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections of equipment.
• Perform quality checks and tests on the refined products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and address quality issues and deviations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on refinery equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Implement measures to minimize environmental impact.
• Maintain accurate records of production, process parameters, and quality control data.
• Prepare reports on plant operations and performance.
• Collaborate with other refinery operators and plant personnel to optimize production and resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in operating and maintaining edible oil refineries or similar industrial plants.
• Understanding of refinery processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with edible oil refining is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety procedures.
• Experience with hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
