We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who is willing to maintain the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally.
  • Monitor and maintain a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new staff members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in budget planning and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and control operational costs to maximize profitability.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and implementing cost-effective measures.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and losses.
  • Monitor and report on stock levels and usage patterns.
  • Facilitate training programs for staff on service standards, product knowledge, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance measures.
  • Address and resolve issues related to quality or service standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events, specials, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in licensing and health codes.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain standards.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in the restaurant industry.
