We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Design Engineer or Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical concepts to prototype design, design calculations for Control valves and other similar products. Coordination with other design engineers in the team to successfully complete design relating Control valves and its related products
Responsibilities:
- Control valve design experience and preparing the GA diagrams, hook- up
schematics, Bill of materials etc
- Make innovative engineering changes in the existing product for improvements
and easy manufacture
- Generate 3D modelling and associative 2D detailing by using one or more CAD
tools such as Auto CAD ,Solid works or equivalent Engineering software tools.
- Perform design calculations to find the flow analysis, torque & structural
integrity of valve components
- Prepare the design documents and operation and maintenance manuals for the
product
- Provide error free and timely designs and engineering outputs
- Attend meetings and conferences to develop knowledge and skills
- Visit customer for resolving technical issues
Requirements:
ASME, ANSI, FCI, PED,EN, ASTM, NACE,ISO etc.
- Strong skills and knowledge in international standards, systems and codes like
- Must have working knowledge of Solidworks & Autocad
- Hands- on knowledge in GD&T, following ASME Y14.5 standard is desirable
- Very good knowledge in materials and specifications used in the Control valves
for various parts combined with different Power plant/ O & G applications
- Good knowledge in manufacturing and assembly of Control Valves
- Must have working knowledge of MS office and Excel
- Good written and oral communication skills.
