We are seeking a smart and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team at our Calicut branch office. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT hardware sales and possess the skills to generate leads, meet sales targets, prepare estimates and proposals, close deals, and excel in a competitive environment. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Research and identify potential clients who could benefit from IT hardware solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Create and implement action plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for IT hardware solutions based on client needs and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals align with technical requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and work towards successfully closing deals with clients.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of closed deals to the delivery and implementation teams.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Use this knowledge to position products and services effectively.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to changes in the IT hardware industry.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT hardware sales is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware products and solutions.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions and technology trends.
