We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Officer to join our team and help us expand our reach and grow our IT training institute. The Business Development Officer will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall growth of the institute. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential target markets for IT training services. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities. 
  • Generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, cold calls, and referrals. Create and maintain a database of potential clients and partners. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, government agencies, and individuals interested in IT training programs. 
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients. 
  • Customize offerings to meet the specific needs of clients and demonstrate how our training programs can add value. 
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients. Close deals and secure commitments for training programs and partnerships. 
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with other organizations, industry associations, and technology companies to enhance our institute’s offerings and market presence. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and materials that effectively promote our training programs and services. 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, lead generation efforts, and client interactions. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and market insights. 
  • Gather feedback from clients to understand their needs, preferences, and areas for improvement. Use feedback to refine and enhance our training offerings. Targets and Goals: Set and achieve sales targets and goals in alignment with the institute’s growth objectives. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). 
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the education or IT sector. 
  • Strong understanding of IT training programs, certifications, and industry trends. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
