Restaurant Captain bears a very important role to satisfy guests, ensure F & B service, ensure Order of the Guests, Food and many other important matters. A Restaurant Captain controls all Waiter/ Waitress in a restaurant and follows the order of higher officers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality customer service to all guests.
- Greet each guest promptly and courteously with a good smile and body language.
- Able to answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selections.
- Take food and beverage orders, repeat orders to guests and inform guests of estimated time to serve.
- Process payment and check bills promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the outlet.
- Assist manager by getting involved in planning and organizing special events.
- Check food and beverage inventories and stocks in a consistent and accurate manner.
- Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.
- Complete opening, operating, and closing procedures.
- Escalate guests complain to the duty manager if unable to conduct service recovery.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience of 2 years plus in managing a Restaurant as Captain/Executive/Manager.
- Excellent customer service and willingness to learn new items on food and service;
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to work in fast-paced F&B environment;
- Able to commit weekends and public holidays;
- Able to work split shift
