We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as a General Manager – Service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automobile industry, specifically with Maruti Suzuki, and possess extensive experience in managing service operations. As the General Manager – Service, you will play a key role in overseeing and enhancing our service department’s performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the service department, aligning goals with the overall organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the service department’s efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department.
  • Monitor and manage service processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a team of service professionals, providing guidance and  training
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns and issues.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the service department’s performance.
  • Implement improvements based on performance analysis.
  • Manage the service department’s budget effectively.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline service operations.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 – 20 years of experience in the automobile industry, with a focus on Maruti Suzuki.
  • Diploma or B Tech in a relevant field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
