We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment and a strong willingness to contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen. Stay will be provided, and male candidates with a positive attitude are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Assist cooks and chefs during cooking processes, including grilling, frying, and baking.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures under supervision.
  • Support in arranging and garnishing dishes to enhance their visual appeal.
  • Ensure that plates are presented in an attractive and organized manner.
  • Help in maintaining inventory of food ingredients and supplies.
  • Notify senior staff when stocks are running low to prevent shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen appliances, equipment, and work surfaces.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Follow proper sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
  • Be open to learning new tasks and supporting various kitchen activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a kitchen assistant is preferred.
  • Strong willingness to learn and contribute to kitchen operations.
  • Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Good hygiene practices and awareness of food safety regulations.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
