Laundry Attendant cum Bed Making in Kochi

We are looking for an experienced Laundry Attendant cum Bed Making staff to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as housekeeping staff, with expertise in laundry management and bed making. Stay will be provided, and male candidates with a positive attitude are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and process soiled linens, towels, and guest clothing for washing.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
• Prepare and make beds in guest rooms, ensuring they are neat, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Replace bed linens, blankets, and pillows as needed.
• Maintain inventory of clean and folded linens and towels, restocking as required.
• Report any shortages or damages to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laundry and housekeeping areas, including equipment and storage spaces.
• Follow sanitation and hygiene standards while handling linens and clothing.
• Respond to guest requests for extra linens, pillows, or blankets promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely availability of clean linens for guest rooms.
• Be open to assisting in other housekeeping tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as housekeeping staff, with expertise in laundry management and bed making.
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment operation and fabric care.
• Proficiency in making beds with attention to detail and guest comfort.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and follow safety guidelines.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills to meet laundry and bed making schedules.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
