Mechanical Design Engineer in Calicut

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for LV switchgear panels, packages, and substations.
• Create and revise detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, using CAD software.
• Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for design-related issues during the manufacturing process.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into designs.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in LV Switchgear Panels, Packages, and Substations
• Proficient in creating and interpreting design drawings
• Expertise in sheet metal design
• Proficient in using design software, specifically AutoCAD
• Preferable experience with Autodesk Inventor
