Senior Accountant in Kannur

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in tax laws and GST (Goods and Services Tax) regulations is mandatory. Familiarity with PF (Provident Fund) and ESI (Employee State Insurance) is advantageous but not mandatory. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and compliance. Accommodation will be provided by the company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain proficiency in tax laws and GST regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Assist with tax planning and strategies to optimize tax liability.
• Handle PF and ESI matters, including compliance, reporting, and employee inquiries (if applicable).
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Ensure records are readily accessible for audits and reporting.
• Communicate financial information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
• Utilize financial software and tools to perform tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws.

Requirements:
