Service Engineer (Technician) – Healthcare Equipment

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Engineer (Technician) to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our healthcare equipment and systems. You will work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot a wide range of healthcare equipment, including medical devices, diagnostic instruments, and other related systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration procedures on equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to customer service requests, both on-site and remotely, to resolve technical issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Keep accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during product demonstrations, installations, and customer training sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and product developments to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory guidelines in all service activities.
• Provide timely and comprehensive feedback to the engineering team regarding equipment performance, reliability, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• ITI or Diploma in Electronics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a service engineer or technician, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Solid understanding of electronic systems, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with medical devices and diagnostic equipment is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic software tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Additional Information

• Age: 20-25
• Salary Range: 10,000-12,000 (subject to experience and qualifications)
• This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and career development within the company.
